Configurations

  1. Install Next.js and React: yarn add next react react-dom

  2. Install Nextra and the blog theme: yarn add nextra nextra-theme-blog

  3. Create the following Next.js config and theme config under the root directory:

// next.config.js
const withNextra = require('nextra')('nextra-theme-blog', './theme.config.js')
module.exports = withNextra()
// theme.config.js
export default {
footer: <p>MIT 2020 © Shu Ding.</p>,
head: <>
<meta name="viewport" content="width=device-width, initial-scale=1.0" />

  1. Create pages/_app.js and include the theme stylesheet:
import 'nextra-theme-blog/style.css'
export default function Nextra({ Component, pageProps }) {
return <Component {...pageProps} />
}
  1. You are good to go!

💡

You can also use <style jsx> to style elements inside theme.config.js.
